This is to raise awareness of the plight of mixed b<\/span>reeds across the states living in shelters<\/span>,<\/span> 80% of which are mixed breeds<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0Make pampering your mutts on this day memorable.<\/span><\/p>\n

M<\/span>ixed breeds or mutts <\/span>need care and attention as much as purebreds. Though they may not be as <\/span>predictable<\/span>, <\/span>mutts <\/span>can be friendly, sweet, loving, caring, and more. Some mutts take time to open up to new owners but when they do, love flows out of them like opened floodgates. <\/span>If you\u2019re an owner of one (o<\/span>r<\/span> if you got one from a shelter), here are some things you can do to celebrate National Mutts Day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Go to a dog park<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Take him to a new dog park. A new place to explore would definitely be a treat for your furball. Just make sure that you have everything you need when you walk him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Have a dog<\/span><\/b> m<\/span><\/b>assage<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Animal massage therapists abound. Check the yellow pages. Give your mutt a very relaxing experience by having his back scratched and massaged. Massages help relax tense muscles, stimulate circulation, and enhance mobility of your mutts.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Visit <\/span><\/b>a<\/span><\/b> p<\/span><\/b>et-friendly resort<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Depending on where you got your mutt, much love and attention should be devoted to them as they can be sweet, caring, and loyal as much as purebreds.
