He\/she will provide strategic direction, oversight of revenue cycle work processes, and supervise budget development. He\/she is also accountable for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the production sites and is responsible for the timely and reliable supply chain function.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The responsibilities<\/strong>: Finance and Operations Manager<\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Supply Chain and Operations<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with New Zealand manufacturing plant to ensure timely production and reliable delivery of products<\/li>\n<li>Oversee functional back office areas, facilitate the coordination of activities and policies to maintain quality and efficiency of office operations, product and service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and improve business operations processes workflow, tools and standard operating procedures toward improved efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Plan, organize, implement, and monitor all manufacturing and quality actions<\/li>\n<li>Formulates and recommends manufacturing processes and programs to improve organization\u2019s competitiveness, profitability, and quality performance<\/li>\n<li>Manage internal operations to achieve a high level of efficiency while effectively controlling cost, and manage process improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Resolve issues and complexities that arise at any point of the supply chain network with the ultimate aim to produce\/deliver the correct and required products<\/li>\n<li>Execute efficient and traceable procedures in handling the various inventory accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Accounting and Finance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate all aspects of payroll with vendors including year-end tax reports<\/li>\n<li>Report in compliance with external standards as well as internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Manage internal financial processes, records and controls to ensure accurate and efficient internal business operations<\/li>\n<li>Manage customer and vendors accounts including contract execution, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconcile bank and credit card statements<\/li>\n<li>Record and monitor the company&#8217;s performance through SAP system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop financial plans and projections; assist with follow-on monthly and quarterly financial tracking and variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Execute cash management program, including rolling forecasts, banking liaison, linkage to payment strategy<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the company&#8217;s financial health including budget, cash flow and profitability with monthly financial reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Performance Management<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a list of KPIs and competencies for subordinates<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that employees have the required competencies and can meet the KPIs, or that there is a process and plan by which they can acquire them<\/li>\n<li>Provide timely feedback on how effectively employees are applying job knowledge and skills to achieve the goals established for their position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Addiction Foods is seeking an experienced business professional to manage the firm&#8217;s finances and day-to-day business operations. Applicants for the Finance and Operations Manager position should possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years of experience in successful financial and business operations management<\/li>\n<li>Comes from a manufacturing background<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or Professional Degree in areas of Accounting, Finance, Operations, and\/or other related fields<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Accounting and Inventory Management System, particularly with SAP system<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and far-sightedness to think beyond current systems and explore new technological approaches toward continual improvement<\/li>\n<li>Self-directed with strong time management, planning and organization skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to work collaboratively across countries<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and a friendly, positive disposition<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and able to maintain equilibrium while effectively managing competing deadlines and priorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nIf you believe in our mission and think you are up to the challenge, we would love to hear from you.
